Teatterin Uusi Alkukirjasto – TUA
(Theatre’s New Base Library) is a publishing project that publishes performance texts, plays seeking new forms, choreography annotations, theater essays, and other kinds of writings from the stages from Finland and beyond.
As part of the project, online content (mainly in Finnish) is published connected to the topics of the books.

The publishing project ”Teatterin Uusi Alkukirjasto – TUA” is based on the desire to create an actor in the Finnish publishing industry that increases the reading of theater texts and generates (theatre) discussion.
The goal of the project is to publish 3–5 books per season during the years 2022–2025. The works are selected for their ability to describe or capture the present, their readability and their exemplary character related to form.
